When powerful and feral "Wraiths", threatening to eat the living, invade the Holy Kingdom, the balance is thrown off the Veil. The Wraiths can corrupt and even take over their victims, becoming unstoppable beasts who prey on the common people. Onlythe "Chimeras" or hybrid warriors resulting from the union of two souls are able to protect humanity.

Lute and Briar are sisters that have been reborn in Chimera form. Briar has been given superhuman strength, resilience and mystical abilities through the transformation. Lute was made to be a Chimera to tie her soul to Briar's. Lute and Briar are voiced by Stefanie (Metal Gear Solid 5), who set out on a mission in order to save a destroyed city fromthe Wraiths. However, they discover that their Order has far greater plans.

It was a sad sack full of lies.
It was obvious to us. It was obvious that it was a lie, and yet we continued to do it. That shame has weighed on our lives for many years.

This is the time to rectify it, and to let go of our shame. We will share our shame with you, so that you can carry it. It's sickening.
The Stanley Parable Ultra Deluxe is an extension to its original title, which was created by the same liars that brought you The Stanley Parable, the indie award-winning game.
